The Croton is a bright, tropical houseplant growing in popularity. Croton plants prefer full sun, so it is ideal for a patio, near a window, in a bright room

Lighting: Direct sunlight is best. The more light, the more colors the leaves will have. If the leaves turn green, it needs more light. They need a lot of light exposure in order to thrive. 

Water: Keep moist, when the top half inch of soil appears dry, water again. Do not let the plant stand in water. Water less frequent in the winter months
